Isaac Westcott, leader of Deus Ex Machina Industries, intends to kill Shidou and exploit the Spirits' powers for himself. To this end, Isaac launches a full-scale war against Ratatoskr, prompting the organization to divert its resources to safeguard Shidou. Kurumi Tokisaki, Spirit of Time, may provide a crucial advantage in Shidou's fight, as her power could allow him to travel back in time and confront the Spirit of Origin.
