Chuuta Kokonose, an orphan living with his aunt, has a unique voice in his head that he's had since childhood. He's seemingly ordinary, but his life takes an unexpected turn when a bizarre entity appears and teleports him to a space police station. Chuuta is introduced to Rein Brickke, the Chief of Solar System Department, who reveals he's been chosen to join the force based on a computer assessment. Misuzu Sonokata, a classmate of Chuuta's, expresses skepticism about his aptitude for policing due to his lack of experience, prompting Chuuta to take an assessment test.
