Macross 7: The Movie - The Galaxy is Calling Me

Basara crash-lands on a snowy planet while investigating a sound anomaly that's been detected across the galaxy. He befriends Pedro, a young boy who's obsessed with Fire Bomber, a popular band from the Galaxy Network. Pedro's enthusiasm is contagious, and Basara finds himself drawn into the world of music. The anomaly, it turns out, is being generated by Emilia, a Meltrandi who's struggling to create her own unique sound.
