Goro Kumagaya, a tall middle-school goalkeeper, initially aspired to attend the prestigious Yokonan high school, renowned for its elite football club, but ended up at Kawasaki High School due to an accident. There, he joined forces with talented footballers Shingo, Hideki, and Kazuhito Oda, and together they formed a determined team that aimed to challenge top-ranked schools like Yokonan and strive for victory. As they faced setbacks, the team used those experiences to hone their skills, including discovering Goro's untapped potential as a striker.
