Shinichi Kudou, a high school student with exceptional detective skills, has a history of solving complex cases. His skills are put to the test when two suspicious men are involved in a crime, and he inadvertently becomes a witness. After being caught and administered an experimental drug, Shinichi is left for dead but surprisingly survives, only to find himself in a seven-year-old child's body. He assumes the alias Conan Edogawa and works with private detective Kogorou Mouri, using his intellect to help solve cases and secretly investigate the organization behind his transformation.
