Shuichi's dream is to be a successful musician like his idol Ryuichi Sakuma, and he's made significant progress by forming a band called Bad Luck and getting signed to a major label. However, he's struggling to meet the studio deadlines because he hasn't finished writing the lyrics for their songs. While his friend Hiro suggests finding a girlfriend for inspiration, Shuichi encounters novelist Eiri Yuki, who dismisses his music as having "zero talent." This encounter unexpectedly motivates Shuichi to complete his song and sparks a complex mix of emotions.
