Oam Monogatari: Sono Natsu, Watashi ga Shitta koto is a historical anime set in the Sengoku Era, based on a novel of the same name. The story follows Oam, the daughter of Yamada Kyoreki, a vassal to Ishida Mitsunari, as she navigates life at Ogaki Castle, which would later become a key location for the Battle of Sekigahara that established Tokugawa as shogunate. The anime interweaves past and present, depicting Oam's experiences and eventual escape with her mother from the castle in the dead of night.
